GE Healthcare Launches DoseWatch Explore

   Waukesha, Wisconsin  --  GE Healthcare announced the launch of a new introductory dose management system.

Called DoseWatch Explore, the software is paired with the company's computed tomography systems.

The application "tracks, analyzes and reports practice-level radiation dose data for GE CT systems."

The solution helps clinicians improve patient radiation dose levels during diagnostic imaging procedures such as CT scans.

GE says the system also provides an entry-level way into gaining visibility into dose data, which is a new area of regulatory and accreditation requirement in the US.
